These earrings are from the late Victorian period, 1870-1901, and are in excellent condition.
They are reminiscent to an Etruscan style with bead work and granulation. The black enamel creates depth in the design. Black enamel work was a popular accent on antique Victorian earrings during the time period bringing in design elements from the mourning jewelry made popular by Queen Victoria.
