Our Commitment to the Environment ... 

The priorities of my business are connection, sustainability and responsibility.  I strive to support my students and local businesses and have little impact on the environment in the making of my jewelry (No ecosystems are hurt by my art).  With this motto at the heart of JO’s Oyster Garden, these practices are followed:  Shells, stones, and sea glass are hand-picked; Metals and gemstones are supplied from local shops, antique markets, and estates as much as possible; Recycled metals and findings are used often in classes. 

What Makes JO's Jewelry Special ... 

***  Each piece is uniquely designed for YOU and slow made by hand by me.  My creations are a tribute to the beauty and perfection found in the natural world around me.   

***  It is made responsibly! Natural findings, such as seaglass and shells, are handpicked in my travels with zero carbon footprint;  materials are sourced locally; Recycled metals and gemstones are used as much as possible.
