Mabe Pearl Sterling Silver Pendant

CLASS DETAILS:
In this class, we will set a Mabe Pearl into an open custom made sterling silver bezel setting.  We will be using a beautiful, decorative gallery wire to create the custom bezel, and silver tube to create the bail.  The pearls are freshwater pearls from the South Pacific.  A limited supply will be on hand, and they all differ slightly in shape, size, and color.  Selections will be on a first come, first serve basis.  Silver chains are not included, but can be purchased separately at class.

The skills covered in class will be sizing, forming, cutting, hammering, soldering, filing and polishing metal, plus setting a  cabochon shaped pearl.    

All materials and instruction will be provided at class.  No previous experience is necessary to join.
